Hi, I'm Ariel.

I'm a design leader focused on solving complex challenges.

In 2018, I joined Sidewalk Labs as Director of Civic Innovation, where I am working with local organizations, government, and communities to bridge the digital divide, foster social cohesion, and inspire civic engagement and transparent decision making in neighborhoods of the future.

Most recently, I served the New York City Mayor’s Office for Economic Opportunity as Director of Design and Product to improve service delivery and advance equity and opportunity for all New Yorkers. I founded the nation's first municipal Service Design Studio focused on low-income residents. I also managed a portfolio of best in class digital products to connect and deliver services.

I'm an alumna of Parsons School of Design and have held fellowships with Code for America and the Center for Urban Pedagogy.
