Hi, I'm Ariel.

I'm a transformative leader versed in service design, digital product development and organizational strategy. I embed equity and justice in my work and strive to create a world where everyone can prosper.

I have worked in the private, nonprofit and public sectors to drive change and deliver impactful solutions. I served the New York City Mayor’s Office for Economic Opportunity as Director of Design and Product to improve service delivery and advance equity and opportunity for all New Yorkers. I founded the nation's first municipal Service Design Studio and managed a portfolio of best in class digital products to connect and deliver services.

I’m currently at Sidewalk Labs working to improve quality of life in cities. I was previously the Director of Civic Innovation where I led the vision for civic life as part of our social infrastructure strategy and worked closely with government, organizations and communities to pilot programs and products. More recently, I’ve been leading design and product strategy for urban systems as a Design Director.

I'm an alumna of Parsons School of Design and have held fellowships with Code for America and the Center for Urban Pedagogy.
